Automotive ResearcherPosition Summary Enters and updates detailed information related to Price and Specifications data in the proprietary Polk databases. Performs peer reviews of team members data entry. Primary Responsibilities • Enters source information from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in Polk’s Data Entry tool (DET) and is accountable for ensuring accuracy of the data entered. • Performs data entry tasks into company’s proprietary database for new vehicles at detailed levels for assigned OEMs, including make, model, and trim information. • Performs peer reviews on data entry completed by other team members to ensure compliance with Polk’s standards and formats. • Makes notations to reflect data updates and changes to Polk content data within the Polk system. • Responsible for attending team meetings and providing input using broad experience and knowledge of the Polk database. Secondary Responsibilities • Performs other duties as assigned by management. Relationships/Contacts Works with other Data Processors and members of the IS&S team. Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not supervise anyone. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma with 1 year of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Strong Microsoft Office skills required. Must have high proficiency in Excel. • Must have great attention to detail and accuracy. • Must have the ability to work with established deadlines. • Must be organized and have the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize on an ongoing basis. • Must be deadline drive and focused. • Demonstrated verbal and listening skills required. • Automotive industry knowledge or data entry experience a plus. Other Requirements Work schedule for position is Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Working Conditions Normal office environment.
