Health Benefits
R. L. Polk Canada, Inc. health insurance package includes the following:
Medical Insurance
Medical coverage is
offered to all permanent full-time employees and their eligible
dependents. Benefits range from 100% coverage to 80% coverage for
hospitalization and specialty care.
Prescription Drug Program
Employees
enrolled in the R. L. Polk Canada, Inc. medical program are
automatically enrolled in our prescription drug program. The co-pay for
an approved generic drug is $5 at retail.
Dental
The R. L. Polk Canada, Inc.
dental plan provides up to 100% coverage for preventative services and
allows employees and their eligible covered dependents the freedom to
choose either a participating or a non-participating dentist.
Vision
Vision is offered free to eligible employees and their eligible dependents.

Inc.. is committed to protecting the privacy of all employees and their
dependents covered under our health care programs.
Life/Disability
R. L. Polk Canada, Inc. offers the following insurance options:
Life Insurance
Life and accidental
death and dismemberment insurance equal to 1x the employee’s salary is
provided to all regular full-time employees. Eligible employees may
purchase additional accidental death and dismemberment insurance for
themselves, as well as additional life insurance for themselves and
their eligible dependents.
Short Term Disability
Protection
against loss of income due to a non-work related accident or injury is
provided to every regular full-time employee. Our Short Term Disability
benefit is 75% of the employee’s weekly base salary up to a weekly
maximum benefit of $2,000, beginning on the 8th day of consecutive
disability.
Long Term Disability
Eligible
employees are provided with Long Term Disability coverage of 50% of the
employee’s pre-disability base salary, beginning after 26 weeks of
disability. Additional Long Term Disability coverage can be purchased
by employees.
Retirement Plan
The R. L.
Polk Canada, Inc. care and concern for its dedicated employees extends
beyond their term of employment by offering the following retirement
plan:
R.L.Polk Canada Inc. RRSP Plan
Regular
full-time employees may begin participating in the R. L. Polk Canada,
Inc. RRSP plan on the first day of the month following six full months
of continuous employment. R. L. Polk Canada, Inc. contributes 50-cents
for every dollar an employee contributes up to 6% of compensation.

Paid Time Off
Eligible employees receive paid time off as follows:
Holidays
R. L. Polk Canada, Inc.
observes 9 paid holidays each year (Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada
Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, Boxing Day,New Year’s Day
and Family day). Specific holidays subject to change.
Vacation/Sick Time
The R. L. Polk Canada, Inc. paid time off policy provides time off for an employee’s vacation, illness and personal needs.
Bereavement Time
All regular employees
are entitled to up to three days of bereavement time when they have
experienced the loss of a close family member.
Jury Duty
R.
L. Polk Canada, Inc. recognizes an employee’s civic duty when called to
participate as a juror. Employees who are selected for jury duty will
continue to earn their regular salary (for up to 15 days).
Employee Assistance Program
All
employees and their family members may benefit from the R. L. Polk
Canada, Inc. Employee Assistance Program, a 24-hour confidential
counseling and referral service. In addition to three face-to-face
counseling visits, employees can receive financial, legal and health
& wellness resource assistance.
Tuition Assistance
Regular
full-time employees pursuing a degree program that pertains to the R.
L. Polk Canada, Inc. business may be reimbursed the cost of tuition and
lab fees (no administration or registration costs) plus one-half of the
cost of books, for courses taken under an accredited program, when they
obtain a grade of B or better.
Group Travel Accident Insurance
Regular full-time employees are provided with travel accident insurance, effective on date of hire, for business travel.
